The word that comes to mind when I think of Genmaicha is comfort. Toasted brown mochi rice is blended into green tea. Word on the street is that it was to stretch the expensive beverage. The result is a nutty, malty green tea that goes wonderfully with food. This pesticide free since 1976 tea farm uses spring harvest tea for more intensity than usual. A real crowd pleaser.
